Meetings The club meets once each quarter. Our meetings cover a wide range of topics including heath issues for Westies, grooming, behavior, fun days and many other activities. Annual Events Each year in June we hold our Specialty dog show and Obedience Trial. Westie fanciers from all over the country come to California to compete in this show. Our Westie Festie Event is our annual Match (practice dog show) and rescue parade for dogs our rescue committee has rescued and placed during the year. Our annual awards banquet and holiday party is mainly social and we honor our members and dogs that have completed titles recognized by The American Kennel Club. The club also awards “the most valuable member award” and “the most valuable rescuer award”.
